saw green day last night and at the train station after there was this straight couple sitting. this old guy started talking to them and the young guy was like “yeah we just saw green day” the old guy was like “that’s awesome how was it??” and the guy, with a look like he was telling someone he served in nam was like “i was actually in the pit.” then after he was sitting alone for like 5 minutes just giving 1000 yard stare having flashbacks. lil bro acting like he experienced trench warfare moshing to boulevard of broken dreams.
